Terms of Service

CMSKite is a hosted content platform. You write posts in a dashboard, and your own website reads them over an HTTP API. We host the content and the API; how your site renders it is yours.

A free plan is available and does not require a card. Paid plans add capacity and features, and what each plan includes is listed on the pricing section of our site and in the documentation.

You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for who you invite to your workspace and what they do in it.

API keys are read-only and scoped to one project. They are meant to be used by your website, including in browser code where you have restricted the allowed origins. Keeping them out of places you do not want them is your responsibility; revoking one is immediate and available in the dashboard.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Your content stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, serve it through the API, and back it up.

You are responsible for what you publish. You may not use CMSKite to store or serve anything unlawful, anything that infringes somebody else’s rights, malware, or content that exists to deceive people about who wrote it.

We do not review content before it is published. If we are told about something unlawful we will look at it, and we may remove it or suspend an account that is being used for it.

Rate limits and quotas are published in the documentation and enforced on every request. Working within them is expected; working around them is not.

Do not attempt to reach another workspace’s data, probe for vulnerabilities without telling us first, or resell raw API access as if it were your own service.

If you find a security problem, write to us before publishing it and we will work with you.

Paid plans are billed for the period shown at the time you subscribe. Usage beyond what a plan includes is billed as described in the documentation.

Prices may change. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change affects you, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

A plan that lapses or is cancelled degrades to the free plan. We do not delete content you created because a payment stopped — read access to your own data is never revoked for non-payment.

We work to keep the service up and we do not promise a specific uptime figure on the free plan. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using CMSKite and delete your workspace at any time. Export your content first — once a workspace is deleted we cannot recover it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is being used unlawfully, or is damaging the service for other customers. Except where the law or an emergency requires otherwise, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
