Add a blog to a Lovable app

Lovable writes the code for you, so you give it a prompt instead of pasting a snippet. CMSKite writes the prompt with your blog's address in it. It takes about ten minutes.

Before you start

  • A Lovable project you can edit
  • A CMSKite account with at least one published post
  • Your website address saved in Website settings → General, so post links and the sitemap point at your app

Add the blog

  1. Copy the prompt

In the dashboard open Connect your website and choose AI builder prompt. Copy it as it is.

  2. Paste it into Lovable

Send it as a new message. Lovable adds a blog list page and a post page that read your published posts.

  3. Publish the app

Changes in a preview are not live. Publish or deploy so the new pages reach your real address.

The prompt uses your public blog address. It needs no API key, so there is nothing secret to leak into the app's code.

Make sure Google can read the posts

Many Lovable apps draw every page in the browser. A person sees the post, but a search engine that does not run JavaScript sees an empty page. Check it once:

  1. Open a post on your published app
  2. Right-click and choose View page source
  3. Search the source for a sentence from the post

If the sentence is there, you are done. If not, the posts still rank, but on your free link at cmskite.com/b/your-blog. Link to it from your app's menu, so readers and search engines both find it.

Lovable can also connect to CMSKite over MCP, so its assistant writes and publishes posts for you: MCP and automation.

Check that it works

  1. Publish a short test post in the dashboard
  2. Open the blog page of your app in a private window and reload. The post should be in the list within a minute
  3. Open the post. Its address should be your site's, not cmskite.com
  4. Delete or unpublish the test post when you are done
