Team and roles
Open Team to invite people. Each person has a role, which decides what they can see and change. Changes apply from their next click.
The built-in roles

| Owner | Everything, and the only one who changes the plan |
| Admin | Manage projects, content and team. Not the bill |
| Editor | Create and publish content |
| Viewer | Read only |
Make your own role
Choose Make your own role and start from a template, then tick what it may do:

| Writer | Writes drafts; somebody else publishes |
| Publisher | Writes, publishes and tidies up posts |
| Marketing | Publishes posts and watches the traffic |
| Read-only | Sees posts and traffic; changes nothing |
A role somebody holds cannot be deleted. Move them to another role first.
One person, a little more or less
You can give one person a little more or less than their role from their row, without making a new role for them.
Seats
Each person uses a seat. When the seats are full an invite fails; add seats on the Plan page. See Plans and limits.
Writers who do not log in
A freelancer or a pen name does not need a seat. Add them as an author and credit their posts to them.
