Add a blog to a v0 app

v0 writes Next.js, which can render every post on the server. Give it the CMSKite prompt, deploy, and the blog is part of your app. About ten minutes.

Before you start

  • A v0 project
  • A CMSKite account with at least one published post
  • Your app's address saved in Website settings → General

Add the blog

  1. Copy the prompt

In the dashboard open Connect your website and choose AI builder prompt.

  2. Copy it now

The prompt holds a read-only key, shown once. It reads published posts only.

  3. Send it to v0

Paste it as one message. Ask v0 to render the blog pages on the server, so the posts are in the HTML.

  4. Deploy

Deploy the project. The preview is not your public address.

If you edit the code yourself

The pages v0 writes follow the same shape as Add a blog to a Next.js site. Use that guide to check or extend them.

Check that it works

  1. Publish a short test post in the dashboard
  2. Open /blog on the deployed app in a private window and reload. The post should be in the list within a minute
  3. Open the post. Its address should be your site's, not cmskite.com
  4. Delete or unpublish the test post when you are done
