Plans, limits and changing plan
Free, two fixed paid plans (Starter and Team), and Custom, which you size yourself. Every limit is visible in the API before you hit it, every refusal names the capability that caused it, and you buy or change a plan yourself with a card or UPI.
What each plan includes
Free, Starter and Team are fixed. Custom starts from a base price and grows by the dials you turn — projects, workspaces, members, API requests, media storage and database size. Store media or content in your own bucket or cluster and that part costs nothing. The figures below are read from the live catalogue, not typed into this page.

GET /v1/plans publishes the plans and the price list. GET /v1/billing returns the plan you are on and the resolved entitlements your requests are actually judged against — after any negotiated agreement. That is the authoritative answer, not this page.What happens at a limit

A count limit refuses at the limit — not one past it, and not one short. If your plan allows two keys, the third request is the one refused, and it tells you the number.
Changing plan
Starter and Team are bought with a card or UPI through our payment provider. Pick a plan on the Plan screen, pay on the secure checkout page, and the plan starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. Tax is added at checkout. Custom is set up with you: contact support.

POST /v1/billing/quoteprices a Custom configuration before you contact us. Only the workspace owner can buy or change a plan: choosing what the company pays for is an owner’s decision, and a connected AI tool can never do it.Pay
The checkout page is hosted by the payment provider, so card details never reach CMSKite. Your current plan keeps working exactly as before until the payment is confirmed.
It takes effect
Once the payment is confirmed, your subscription moves in a single transaction and every credential you hold is resolving the new limits within about five seconds. You can cancel or resume, change plan, or open the payment portal from the Plan screen.
Downgrading never deletes anything
Move from a paid plan to Free with 900 posts and you keep all 900. They stay readable, editable and served. The next create is refused; nothing that exists is removed, archived or hidden.
The same rule holds if an invoice goes unpaid: access degrades to the free plan after a grace period rather than stopping. We never revoke read access to data a customer created. A platform that deletes content on downgrade is a platform nobody can safely try.
