Scheduling posts
Write now, publish later. A scheduled post goes live by itself at the time you choose.
Schedule a post
Open Post settings → Publish
Set Status to Scheduled.
Pick the time
Choose the date and time under Publish at.
Press Schedule
The post list shows it as Scheduled until it goes live.
Before it goes live
A scheduled post is private, like a draft. API keys, the embed and your sitemap do not see it, so nothing leaks early. You can still edit it, move the time, or set it back to Draft.
When it goes live
- It appears in your post list, feed and sitemap
- Webhooks send
post.published, so a site that caches pages can refresh (Webhooks) - If IndexNow is on, Bing and other IndexNow engines are told at once (Sitemaps and feeds)
Scheduled AI writing
Separate from this: the content autopilot writes drafts on a schedule, and nothing it writes goes live until you approve it. See Writing with AI.
